New Faces of Swedish Cinema + Spotlight on Lukas Moodysson The Film Society of Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater, in collaboration with the Swedish Film Institute and with support from the Consulate General of Sweden in New York, presents a week-long showcase of contemporary Swedish film. The showcase spotlights the work of Lukas Moodysson, who burst onto the international film scene in 1998 and has since become known for powerful and empathic interpretations of humanity in all its forms, including unflinching looks at issues such as child trafficking and pornography.
